I emailed John LEWIS with the following
you say on lots of items 'reduced to clear for example this
"Lacoste Classic Polo Shirt, Navy
Reduced to clear
Now £60"
can you tell me what was the original full price as I believe that this is the full price and it is not reduced at all,
This was their reply!!
"I apologise as after checking the system I can confirm that it looks as if there has not been a reduction in price. I have arranged for a manager to contact you by email as soon as we hear back regarding this. He will be in contact with you shortly"
they are trying to con us i think!! Do they think we are stupid!!

Sounds like a pretty honest response to me - they have discovered a mistake, escalated the problem and will report back to you - much more than most companies would do!Gone ... or have I?0
