Why not try "Square Foot Gardening" by Mel Bartholomew. I had this for Christmas and although some of it is a bit "Americanised" what I have read so far has got me wanting to get out there.
I also grow things in containers and there are a lot of good books out there - just google "vegetable growing in containers". I found some of the more general books about gardening were a bit daunting for my small space. I just adapt the advice to a small vegetable bed.
Alys Fowler's Edible Garden is also another one which interests me. I haven't read it but the series she did was good.0 -
