I did 2 switches over the telephone with them, as they were to A&L accounts anyway and it was a 'test the water' after reading of other people's probs with this.
Anyway, they set up 2 DDs for 1 transaction and got the dates wrong on both of those! So had £300 disappear instead of £150, but I managed to do a transfer back to sort that one out, once I'd figured out what happened!
Fortunately, the mortgage one (most important!) is dealt with by a different call centre and I had a bit more success there - so far! I'll know more if it gets taken from the right account on the right date at the end of this month!
The other thing is that the on-line banking is poor. The summary page is out of sync with the statement page, so balances don't make sense and they use Acct No.'s and not account names for inter-acct transfers, oh and then they're 3 days behind so nothing makes sense at the moment until it catches up with itself.
I'm not moving any other DDs or SOs or switching income to go there. I'm keeping my salary going into Lloyds and have set up an SO to A&L for the 2 DDs above and cash for petrol/food/general each month.
I'm not saying everyone will feel like I do, but their staff don't seem trained to me.Back on the DFW Wagon:
CC - £3,300 on 0% til 04/2020
CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019
Loan - £12,063.84 as at 4/1/180
