I read every post in this thread and reeree you're an amazing grandmother and it's so great to read that your grandson is now happy at college.

I was bullied at school, and though an entire class had seen this older girl trying to bash my head on concrete, at the meeting with the head teacher my parents asked her not to expel the girl because she was the daughter of one of my father's business accquaintances ! My form teacher was so incensed she walked out of the meeting and it was she who told me what happened. My parents hadn't even mentioned that they would be attending a meeting about the bullying.

So reeree your grandson is very lucky to have you in his corner as not every family member cares to the extent that you have. :T

Read whole thread - pretty inspirational stuff to be honest! Certainly brought back some unhappy memories of my own secondary school

Thanks for reminding a somewhat at time cynical person about what is important and maybe to listen a little more!
