I don't think that's the same company, has a similar name to the one that was in the sun tho.

If you want to make a lastminute.com booking and earn 500 piggypoints, are you restricted only to the small number of hotels on pigsback ? The search facility does not seem to pick up everything on offer at the normal lastminute.com site.

I want to book a hotel via pigsback & lastminute.com but it won't find my hotel !

Regarding the Get Me A Ticket concern, reading the thread would have avoided any misunderstanding whatsoever.

    Hi Darragh.....

Just wondered if the link below if for the same company that PB has on its site??

    They look very familiar.....

If it is then it may be an idea to get it scratched off as anyone signing up may be a bit miffed if they dont get points for it?

If not then it may be an idea to state that the companies are not linked in any way?

I thought that too when they first appeared on PB (after seeing it in watchdog),
But, the company that PB are partners are Get Me A Ticket where as the company in the sh*te is Get Me Tickets.net

also, the PB one is a survay site, not a gig ticket 'agency'

Thanks for the heads up, but it's not the same company (just similar URLS unfortunately) We try to be very picky about who we advertise on our site and only choose partners that will provide a qulaity service to our members but sometimes you never know how things are going to go really - I'm just glad we never introduced Choice Vouchers to the rewards section!

It's not the same. This was mentioned a few pages back, and a number of people pointed out that it was a different company.

Darragh also posted (yesterday I think) to say that it's different companies...and he'd know!!

The one that's gone bust is "Get Me Tickets", which is (or rather, was) a ticket agency from which you get (or didn't get ) tickets for concerts, sports events etc

The one on Pigsback is "Get Me A Ticket", which enters customers into competitions and prize draws, in exchange for customers answering short sponsored surveys

2 similar names, 2 completely different companies

Try the difference between https://www.pigsback.com and https://www.piggy-back.com and you'll see what I mean!!

Quite a few people now have said that they're going to redeem their next voucher and then stop bothering with Pigsback.
    No, I don't think so.

I can think only of Broken Hearted (whom you quote in your post), who has been upset with PB for a while, IIRC. Other people have certainly had moans, but I can't actually remember anyone else saying they are leaving PB. Many of those who have had complaints have had their issues resolved and now seem happy.

There is still an issue around the Get Me A Ticket points, but I haven't checked up on the details for that yet. I'll try to do that some time. It may be that tracking is not working properly between client, PB and Dell, too. I am waiting to read more reports about points being awarded for deals made with MoreTh>n, too.

We've been through this before, this use of a general impression as opposed to real evidence.

"Quite a few people" ... How many is that? Who are they? Where can we find evidence of their declarations to leave PB?

On the positive side, I am glad that you are happy with PB, Dave, and appreciate the contribution of Darragh on here.

From being one of PB's biggest fans yet one of its most trenchant critics, both at the same time, I have become over the last couple of months something of a defender of PB. It's not a role that sits well with me, and I do still have concerns about their CS efficiency.

However, I think Darragh and his team have been working hard to deal with the queries of 250 000 members acquired in an unbelievably short time, and I noted the recent post in this thread which pointed out that they are advertising for more CS staff. That can only be good for PB and good for us, its users.

But, please, I'll say it one more time, where criticism is made, let's have hard evidence.
