Swings and roundabouts, I suppose. The Acer has a bigger screen and is cheaper than most of those with smaller screens if you buy it from Comet. The Dell in the OP is now £300 with a 10.1" screen. You pays yer money....

Now that's going back to the good old days....when a Dell bargain was a Dell Bargain...desktops for under £100...gosh those were the days;)

some of the mistakes dell used to make were painfull

i once got a state of the art PC for 130 quid delivered, i only had to change the screen size down to 15" and remove onsite service and it knocked 400 quid off the price
