Urgent help needed with Rossendales bailiffs

A couple of years back i got into trouble while unemployed with my council tax. In due course my debt was passed on to rossendales, who turned up for the first time at half past 8 in the morning when i had been at work until 3.30 the previous evening. When they buzzed they didn't say bailiffs so stupidly, i let them in. They set up a payment plan and listed a few items and left. Later on i got into money dificulties again and couldn't pay the plan. They wouldn't hear any of it, gave me absolutely no help or leeway and of course, i defaulted. I heard nothing more for almost a year.

Now i have been unemployed since last christmas. This morning i woke up to a letter saying they'd been round with a magistrates liability order/distress warrant for unpaid council tax and i now have 24 hours to settle the debt or they will reattend at their convenience and remove goods even in my abscence. They also say no further arrangements are acceptable and payment is required in full by clear funds only.
Well, like most people i don't have the ability to pull £700 out of thin air and don't know what to do! I have no job, what my partner earns just covers rent, bills and food and all of the stuff is his.

The stuff that they listed doesn't exist anymore. My ex broke in and trashed my old flat so I have nothing to give.

Please help!!

You urgently need to contact Herbie21 by pm and maybe via her phone number (given the severity of your case). Will post the address is here

The stuff that was listed effectively belonged to the bailiffs and they are not going to be happy.

Send her a pm on here, then

BUT she only looks in every so often and if you can afford even a minute long call to alert her to the thread, she will come and look for you.
