Spending Diary Spreadsheet does anyone have one?

I'm going to start a debt free diary in the next few days but as there still seems to be some unaccounted for money in our SoA I need to get started on a spending diary.

Whilst im fairly nifty on excel and could set up a spreadsheet I wondered if anyone had a good one set up already that I could perhaps have a copy of?

I want to make sure i do this 'properly' as for the first time I feel positive about doing this and seeing it through.

Also completely off the subject but just in case anyone knows, does anyone have a recommendation for website to partake in surveys in return for vouchers?

    Hi Jellybean

Don't have a spreadsheet set up but have you considered using www.spendingdiary.com ? Some people on here use that.

    Hello jollybeanbaby,
Doing it properly means doing it TODAY.
You only need a pen and paper.
Not doing it properly is putting it off until you get a spread sheet set up.

If you need a spread sheet it is easy to do your own. Just write down the things you spent money on today.
Coffee, fares, newspaper, chocolate, tesco bill. and just put those heading and figures into a spread sheet. Then tomorrow you may have other things to add and the next day and so on. dead easy.

    Good Luck

Thanks and your right, I have beem writing everything down but wanted a more 'formal' approach that at the end of every day I could update, I think it will help me stick to it a bit better.
