    Congratulations! :T

I went to a lovely wedding at The Lodge on the Loch near Luss. The room had a full glass wall overlooking the loch, and although it wasn't a particularly nice day, the views of the weather rolling in were stunning (February). food was superb. No idea of costs.

Best wedding I have ever been to was in the village hall at Gartmore - up the A81 so not quite Loch Lomond. The ceremony was in the bride's garden, everything else in the hall. Lovely sit down meal by outside caterers, roll with square sausage for evening guests.

Whatever you decide, have the loveliest day!
  • How about the 'big house' that used to be in "take the high road" (ask your OH!!) you can hire that out as its now a hostel.. its gorgeous!

It also means you have provided accomodation for your guests - it sleeps 110.

(I looked at the other Loch lomond hostel at Rowerdennan when I wanted a bit more of an informal feel, but even if that was your bag it only holds 75.)

These are also a fe hotel in the area - never stayed in them but beautful setting (Drymen)
