I want a perfect party

hey all,
I live in Sunderland in the North East of England and I'm trying to organise my own 25th birthday party (I know it's very sad) I was wondering if there was anyone who live in the area that could help me out.
I need a venue, some where that would easily hole 100 people perferably one that will give you free room hire if you make so much at the bar.
I need catering, I've heard lots of suggestions from work but no one has actually used any of the companies and I'd love to know how they treat customers and food quality etc.
I also need a DJ, what I really want is one that does karoke as well so later in the night when people have a few drinks they can get up and be silly.
Any help would be appreciated as at the moment alot of the places are far too expensive and I don't want to bankrupt my parents with one party.
Thanks

Hey Vianna,
Right although i dont live in the area and cant give ideas on venues etc. The best piece of advice i can give is, dont stress yourself out trying to get everything right on the day. I organised my own 21st and i wanted it to be such a great party that i ended up not enjoying myself.
I was so stressed trying to make sure everything was going to plan and making sure everyone else was enjoying themselves that i went home thinking that id thrown the worst party ever. Not a good feeling.
At the end of the day, its your party, enjoy yourself!
