"fight inflation"
Don't make me laugh.
It is obvious from this statement that you haven't a clue what inflation is or how it is caused."The problem with quotes on the internet is that you never know whether they are genuine or not" -

Stock market is pure froth thanks to QE and the sheeple piling in. Now is the time to short FTSE.
Big inflationary problems ahead.
£ down 30% against Euro and $ and international commodity prices are up as Asians etc. come out of recession.
Savings rates are being suppressed, liquid cash is sloshing about creating asset bubbles that drive inflation ($150+ oil?)
Taxation will be up, passed on in price rises.
EE going home, boomers are retiring, anyone 30-50 with skills will hike up their pay demands (GPs all on £100K+) driving up inflation in service sector.0 -

Am I right in thinking that the only way the stock market can go up is by people buying shares? So aside from 'sheeple piling in', how else would it rise?0 -
Nearly, I kinda know but interested to hear it from you: can you give me a quick rundown of what you mean and understand by 'inflation is theft'? You do write it on here a lot.0

Is that this Sunday? I'm down in London this weekend for a friend's birthday and not coming back until Sunday evening I'm afraid.
I don't know if I'd do an arms-based drink to be honest. Now, if everyone on this board met up I might be tempted...0 -
