You have to sign up to a one year subscription - hence the hefty monthly bill...

£19.50 per month is hardly a hefty bill!!! especially if your first 2 months are included in the price of the starter pack at £9.99

Therefore total price as follows:

£9.99 for starter pack and 2 months subscription to Family Pack at £19.50 per month

£19.50 per month for the last 10 months = £195.00

Total Cost = £204.99 for the year

A saving of around £30.00 versus buying sky from the sky website or direct with them over the phone.

Its still a moneysaving tip!! Worth considering if you intend to buy sky

I wasn't knocking the tip at all, just wanted to point out that you are not getting anything for nothing. As stated earlier you can get SKY installed for nothing but if you are looking to get SKY installed this is one deal to consider especially with the free months subscription.

i just want to emphasise that this is like getting a 'free' mobile phone on contract.

Check out what you get on the SKY family pack compared to freeview.
Check out what you get from SKy even if you pay them £40 + a month, you still have to pay extra to watch football.
I am knocking SKY not anyone else.

Matrix so its a saving of £30, in first year only. So you could buy a Freeview box for the kids bedroom with that
It still involves you spending £205 for a years viewing with nothing special in the channel line up, just E4, Sky1,and Uk gold etc. and then £240 ish year after year.


Not really Moneysaving, its just a Hook with the bait at £30 off. Cable can be cheaper when you take telphone and net/broadband as a pakage, compared to Sky / BT.

If you already have Sky this is a really cheap way of getting a new Sky Remote Control! These are usually £20 so for £9.99 it's a bargain!!! ;D
