Has anyone here bought one of these recently? If so, any opinions on them?

Price seems good, but they are all falling dramatically at the moment - and with 42" plasmas coming down towards the £600/£650 mark, I'm in two minds which is the best route to go. Not fussed about HD either, not that much of a telly addict for me to get excited about it :-D
  • Reading from some reviews on avforums.com they're not too impressed with this model. Its the same one as the acoustic sounds at Argos and the Akuza model at Maplins and have been known to have very average picture quality (especially in scenes with lots of darkness- it comes out very blocky).

But saying that, it is an excellent price for a 32" LCD and well worth it if you're not looking into an amazing quality TV.

Just recommended my brother in law DOESN'T get this TV! The Hyundai Imagequest at ebuyer is £100 more, far better spec and HD Ready. If you can't run to another £100 just yet, my advice is WAIT. LCD/plasma privces are already plummeting, you should be able to get a brand name 32" HD ready LCD/plasma by the end of the year for less than this Crown costs. £499 may seen cheap but it's still £500. Why waste your money?

i have this tv, bought it when it 1st sold for £599, so hads it a while now. i think its fab! at the time i certainly couldnt afford any other 32''.

agreed sometimes the tv can appear 'blocky' but this is not often.

overall i think this is a fab tv for the price and it has been perfect for me.

PLUS IT COMES WITH A FREE WALL BRACKET (WHICH MANY DONT) AND THESE ALONE CAN COST £50- £100

    i am a very happy person! :T
