agree with cazzy. its split between 3 boxes, and STILL verges on being unmanagable. it really should have been made an argos direct (ie delivery only) item

the number of them we've had to refund bacause people turn up in poky little cars, and then turn around and say "i didnt realise it was going to be that big..."

Its huge, but we have the boxes bulked behind collection when we have them, and the set built on the shop floor, that way we can point out to the customer before they buy the size of the boxes :).

I don't think its as bad as the massive playhouse we sell, fitting that into a small car is nigh on impossible!

There are quite a few items that should be AD and i'm sure there's some AD items which should be in-store. Anyone who's taken the 8ft headrail (120/3978) or playhouse (366/6898 which now has a bulletin "this item is HUGE") out to a customers can see that some item's need their status changed to AD only. The reason why the patio set / playhouse etc are in store is that store stocked items sell a lot better than if the item is HD only. It's all about the convience of having it there and then.

I would like to add all wardrobes, any item that has been split to avoid the MAX 25kg rule, the huge challange saw, the two part gym items, anything over 5ft in height, the 6ft slide and some of the so called 'mini' systems if we are just building a 'things to go home delivery' list.

p.s. thank you to the very small percentage (2% ish) who remember to put their car seats down when buying huge things. It's great not waiting 5 mins for you to figure out how your car seats fold.

Yes but to be fair, when they are completly oblivious to why the 6.5ft tall wardrobe they have purchased is actually 6.5ft tall, and why its not going to fit in their Ford Ka as much as they try. Is when it starts to get a bit annoying....

I'm fine, when people come prepared etc, and don't mind just putting stuff in cars, its the wasting 10/15mins which I dont have, spent messing around thats a pain.

Just checked it out, the Argos one is the same but in Silver and black. This one in focus one is all black. I think it looks better than the Argos one.

I bought this at the weekend and the reason the biggest box is so big is that the loungers are packed side-by-side. But if you take them out of the box, they fit just fine. I know, I'm a rocket scientist for working that one out :)
    Thanks in advance,
