Where to get wedding photos printed

Hi we just got back from our wedding/honeymoon a couple of days now, can't believe ive been married for two weeks already. The photograher put out photos on to a disc for us to print out. Where is the best place to get them printed.

I will post some pictures on this board of our wedding soon.

Costco are excellent - if you happen to have one near you and are or know a member. You can upload them all from your own PC and then just go an pick them up

EDIT - after paying for them obviously
  • Thankyou for your help juliescot, we don't have one near us.

You have to be a member of Costco.

OP, my favourite is Photobox.co.uk they're usually one of the cheapest online companies around, and you can usually pick up a few codes, especially if you're a new customer. But they're also really good with turnaround times, delivery and quality of service. As you have to upload them on to the Photobox website, you can also share the pictures with friends/ relatives by giving them the website address and password (if you've created one).

If you don't want to upload them (it can be time consuming if you have a lot!), then try whatever local services you have; Boots, Snappy Snaps etc.

Do you best place for price? Or quality?

If its price, join Snapfish and get 20 for free.
    Same goes for Jessops.
What matters most is how well you walk through the fire

Or know someone who is a member, as I suggested.
  • whenever i get my photos printed I go to tesco, nice and simple :)

you can either upload them at home onto tesco site and order prints, or you can go into store and do it
i always find the price really good (but then I tend to go when I have loads of stuff to print so the price per print comes right down :) )

still lurking on the wedding board tho :rotfl:
  • Personally I would try all the free deals first, photobox are brilliant, and I think the packaging is top notch! I also really like Jessops and have had a few free prints from them! Tesco were doing a free prints deal awhile ago if you pick up in the store, (same goes for Jessops). If you search on mse there will be a few discount codes aswell! And don't foget to go through quidco! Tiger x

They are very good in price and for enlargements - and I had my pictures within 48 hours of ordering. They also keep up to date with the printing/postage process.
2012 wins: Panasonic home phone, Panasonic mobile phone, maple syrup and cookbook, £50 experience voucher, book, craft stuff, holiday in Ibiza, Dr Who Figures and 2 cinema tickets, bottle of Gin, 2X DVDs, Ipod touch, Moshi Monsters cay, Lipstick, Relaxation CD, £500 voucher for birdwatching holiday

Fingers crossed for an ITV win :D
  • I'm not sure how much you paid for your photographer, but getting quality photos printed cheaply is a false economy in my opinion. Not all photograph printers are made equal!

The likes of Costco, the supermarkets and the high street camera shops are fine for your holiday snaps, but these are your wedding photographs! Ask your photographer where he / she gets their printing done - if they take pride in their work, they will make sure its displayed in the best possible manner and this means finding a quality printer.

It might cost you a bit more, but the results will be worth it. Send your relatives a copy of the CD and let them print their own, but for your own set spend a bit more money so you have something decent to look back on in a few years time instead of a cheap set of faded prints.

That said, if you paid a couple of hundred quid for a shoot n run photographer, then its pointless spending a lot on printing!
