Oh dear, im another debt casualty!

At the minute I'm in around 12k of debt. I have always been good at paying my creditors until now, I'm always over drawn Nationwide have *reduced* my £750 overdraft limit to £600 and Ive missed a few payments to various creditors. I'm now ready to hold my hand up and shout "HELP"
I'm thinking of contacting those concerned and asking them nicely if I can pay a reduced payment/interest for a maximum of 12 months to help me get back on my feet at which time I'm sure I could manage the normal payments.
What do you people think......?

:hello: mark Ice!
Firstly, deep breath.
Secondly, once youve composed yourself, go back to the forum and see "first time posters" by Southern Scouser. Have a read through that, pop up an SOa, and we'll see what we can do to keep the wolves from the door!
All the best

Hang in there & like Lynz said take a deep breath & do you statement of affairs & it will become much clearer...I also have found that writing down every penny that I spends helps...makes less likely to spend & I can see clearly where money is going & therefore where it needs to be cut. Hope that helps? Well done for taking the first step though, usually one of the hardest things to do! Hugs!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1!
