The other day there was a thread where someone was asking about le Creuset and what to get etc. I was in Tesco yesterday and they had their own make cast iron stuff whcih was very reasonable at £35 for 24cm casserole. Then today I just went online to order one and found that they were half price (£17) in some colours - here is the link http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.203-9034.aspx
I had a look at the ones in store, which were still £35 and they look to be very good quality and almost the same as the Buckingham cast iron stuff, of which I have some pieces and they are great - just the same as le Creuset.
Just thought those of you (like me) who love cast iron casseroles but who can't afford le Creuset prices, might be interested.
P.S. the cast iron griddle (24cm square) is also half price at £10.

I would say this item probably cost a fiver, unless you want a 2 hour delivery slot.

If you have a tesco nearby where you can collect (I think it might only be 'extra' stores) then it's free delivery if you spend over £25 - simple answer is to make up the order and then return the one you don't wantEat food. Not too much. Mostly plants - Michael Pollan
