The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.

Other DAB's at Richer Sounds = Crown CDR140 £19.95, Goodmans GSR80 Silver £19.95, Sharp FVDB1 £24.95 and Sharp FVDB2 £29.95. Limited supplies apparently.
How come the price is dropping suddenly? (are they all c**p?)The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.0 -

I would only buy a Pure brand DAB, as a lot of the 'cheap' brand DAB radio's do not have very good reception. They are probably improving though, and the cheaper prices are probably a result of increased production due to demand.
Also chip prices have come down a lot.0 -
I intend to use the tranny on a kitchen worktop so I’ve easy access to mains. As the ‘Pure One’ radio doesn’t appear to come with a mains lead I would have to feed it 6 C cells every 35 hours use or as an alternative buy a Pure Chargepak for an additional £33 to power it that way. With that factored in it’s not such a bargain for me...0

From the argos website for the Pure One.....
mains operated or requires 6 x C batteries (not supplied) or uses ChargePAK (rechargeable battery pack not supplied).
...don't look like a problem there!0 -
If the 230V AC to 9V power adapter is included then the Pure’s the ticket for me. Thanks Jimble..0

Then there's the rather nice Dab Elan portable at £50 delivered.

I never liked the look of the Elan.
The One in black looks cool, and is also upgradeable via USB.0
