Snags...You may think I am a good mum doing christmas cards but the true fact is that Bea dipped her fingers in the paint, smeared it instead of leaving a nice fingerprint and I moaned, she got fed up and I did all of the ones today Sounds about right doesn't it!

Have started making some bunting though which I am going to give to best friends daughter for the C word. That will be one present down, have bought the 2 boys some pirate stuff already. I will be organised and spend as little as possible

Hehehe, just sounds like normal family life to me hun - I think it's only in films that the well behaved little angels sit there and create masterpieces that you can proudly show off to your friends.

It's the fact you bothered doing it with her that makes you a good Mum, not the finished product.

:hello: I made cakes with Chloe yesterday and got naffed off cos the cake mixture wasn't level in each cake.....then she didn't like the butter cream mix I made...she wanted Jam and I don't like Jam...:rotfl:

Yay well done for making cakes..I love doing cooking with Bea but then I have too much temptation and want to eat them all!

Not much better although I am getting better...I did throw half the cakes away this morning after I had eaten about six!!!!!

Diet not gone too well today, I didn't feel like eating at all yesterday or the day before now I just want to eat!!!!!

I am giving myself the day off tomorrow and I am going to go to the gym and go on the treadie, swim, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi....my membership runs out soon so I need to make the most of it....

DD - I love that!! So true!

When I was a childminder, we used to take it in turns to do activities at other childminders houses, once I set up a whole roll of wall paper in the garden with old washing up bottles full of watered down paint...we stripped the kids down to their pants and let them go wild....most of them couldn't believe they were allowed to make a mess but they loved every second of it....I was lucky with the kids I looked after, their parents were lovely and happy for that sort of mucky play.

My day got more and more better as it went on. I am now on top of the world :T Work was bad though but hey I can't have it all can I Going to head in the bath soon as I have the house to myself tonight woo hoo. Shame about the noisy kids/teenagers next door :rolleyes:

I am I thought I was before but obviously not. I have also started to stand up for myself in work and in life in general. Lets just say my boss is a tad shocked but hey I have been used as a doormat too long :j
