Bank Charges - £103 in 5 Days :-|

Hey,

I know this is my fault for not having enough money in my account and forgetting to stop the direct debit but i've been bank charged in the last five days -

£35 - £7 - Debit Card Misuse
£38 - £12 - Direct Debit Bounce
£30 - For going over my overdraft by the original £7 :rolleyes:

*sighs*

no its not your fault......phone them up these charges are outrageous.......they should refund them, if not look at the unfair bank charges thread (sorry rubbish at links) sure someone will guide you

I got charged £60 the week before last by Barclays because my OHs pay cheque was late. I wrote them a rather charming letter of my own composition asking for my money back out of goodwill, pointing out how this was an unforseen occurrence. I havent heard from them yet but this has worked several times in the past years long before claiming back your bank charges was heard of.
