Tooth extraction - when can you eat??

  • Thanks Fork!

Woke this morning and everything is fine - no surprises

I've only had to take two paracetamol before bed the day of the extraction and I've not needed anything else. Brusing is slight and swelling almost non-existent from the start. The extraction was Tuesday night and the discomfort (foul taste in mouth) ended last night and this morning I feel fine. It was an easy extraction.

Thanks again to everyone for posting on this thread. I've found it personally very helpful. I was warned that the neighbouring tooth to the gap is also vulnerabe to needing extracting, but so far it looks like it will be OK for some time yet. At least if it happens, I'll now know what to expect :o:D
