Hi all
I'm getting married next June and have been taking in all your tips, but am after some advice.
Has anyone used a company called Style Notes Ltd? Their prices are very good and they have a dress that I really want for my bridesmaids but I can only find a couple of threads on one message board about them and a couple of people said they are bad and a couple good. Don't know which ones to trust!!
Any help appreciated (or suggestions for other good, cheap sites!)

I've not heard of Stylenotes im afraid.
However, have you tried Landy or Milly.
Theres a Landy thread on here if you want to take a lookWhat matters most is how well you walk through the fire0 -
Thanks for that. I'd heard of them but not visited the site for some reason. They don't have the exact one that I liked but do have a couple similar so thanks!!Married 5th June 20101st Baby born 12th April 2011:j0

Hi, I used this company 2 months ago. I purchased 4 BM dresses, code 78101. I only waited for 2 and half weeks to receive all of them and they are very nice indead.
I will suggest you to contact them first, their customer service was very good and they response emails really really quick!
Hope this could help.0 -
Just wondering if anyone's got any other feedback on Style Notes? Was going to use Landy but find their web-site pretty confusing to say the least!! So looking at Style Notes as an alternative, especially since they're UK based.0

If it is not too late, please DO NOT TOUCH THEM WITH A BARGEPOLE.
They are now deregistered from ebay, the dresses are poor quality and they do not reply. Two weeks before my wedding I had to buy new dresses. You do not need the stress! x0 -
I think I am using Style Shake for my bridesmaid dresses. Have a look at http://styleshake.com/. You pick the fabric, then design the dress yourself! I think the ones I was looking at were under £80, and you get a 10% discount if you buy three or more.
I was a bit unsure about buying without seeing them first, but I went to a party they held last week, which gave me the opportunity to see their work and fabrics in the flesh. I was impressed, and have found two colours of silk that I'd be happy for my maids to chose from.
I'm not sure what the sizing is like, but apparently you can send it back for free alterations. They're UK based, which is what draws me to them.

Hi!
DO NOT USE THEM!
I just bought a made to measure bridal dress, after receiving it and trying it on, i noticed it didnt fit or sit properly. So i emailed them to ask if a petticoat is required and what size to which they replied yes one is needed and a 2/3 hoop is required for that dress. Even though a petticoat is required, it never stated this in the dress description information.
After trying the dress on with the petticoat, i still noticed my dress was still too big. So i decided to measure it only to find out they had made the dress 13 inches too big at the hips.
I then emailed them to tell them this to which they had the cheek to reply saying they think the problem is still with the petticoat! Even though i told them THEY had made the dress 13 inches too big. They then replied saying its the style of the dress that makes the hips look large.
Its one excuse after another. I will be contacting the trading standards over this matter, because i have not paid hundreds of pounds for a dress for them to make incorrectly.
Hope this helps.0 -
I have just been reading the posts on this company but there hasn't been anything recently. I am thinking of using this company to buy an evening dress and have found the perfect dress but it does seem so cheap and too good to be true. Has anyone out there had any recent experiences of this company? I would love to hear from you before I try and buy? Thanks Lucy0
