Well I have received my experien credit report as I knew there were a few things on there that i needed to sort out...One is from t-mobile who I owe money to. Thing is i really want to clear this and sort my credit report out so what do i need to to...I dont have the money to pay them off in one go shouldi contact them and arrange a way of paying them off or what?
2nd question is do they only remove this from my credit report once i have completely repaid the full amount?
Is it also possible to make them a partial offer on the debt? I am sure there are ways of not paying the full amount?
I jsut really want to sort it out asap
thanks

Has the account been defaulted and sent to a DCA? If it has, and has since been returned to them you should be able to phone them and pay off however much you can every week/month. If it hasn't got to that stage they may not accept low payments.
If its defaulted it'll stay on there for 6 years. If you pay it, it will show as settled and no money owed but it'll still stay on there for 6 years (I believe).
I'm not sure about paying a lower amount, the way we used to do it (diff. mobile company) is to accept a partial settlement but only if they were paying it off in one go.0 -
well on my credit report it says defaulted but it doesnt ever say it was passed over to a DCA. I am not in a position to contact them and for them to turn around and demand all the money i just cant do that right now but if i can arrange with them to make low monthly payments then that i can do.
On your credit report if a default has been paid off and the balance says satisfied does that still go agains you or is that a neutral?
