quick mortgage advice please...

hi everyone,

my folks are buying a place for cash and want to put my name on the deeds with my mum as joint owner.

will this affect my chance of getting a first time buyer mortgage later on? (even if my folks place is not mortgaged?)

does it even matter? ie are 1st time buyer mortgages that great?

thanks for the help

In reality FTB mortgages are rare to non-existant. So no it wont matter.

No it will not make any difference if you are being put on the deeds of the property that is unencumbered.
