Hard,Harder either way,its never been easy.
Yer, and like chucky says, can buy cheaper now than in 2006. Forget the actual problems associated, forget it's harder, it's always been hard right, so this thread is just noise, waffle etc.
The point is, FTB's just don't know how darn lucky they are.0 -

The Bank of Mum and Dad can't go on for ever. Especially not when we mostly feel 31,000 poorer than last year. And I suspect those than can cough up tens of thousands for their kids are feeling poorer than that.
How much tax are Mum and Dad going to be paying next year, and the year after that?0 -

not everyone can and will be able to buy, afford or qualify to buy a house.
it's the way it is unfortunately - either you go with it or wait to the next HPC and hopefully buy or moan that it's not fair. quite simple choices really.0 -

.
So is it right then, that people should be repossessed if they can't keep up with their mortgage payments ?"The problem with quotes on the internet is that you never know whether they are genuine or not" -

Thanks chucky for that bit of wisdom. Again, nothing to do with the OP, or indeed even anything I said, but something to revert to when in need I guess

As a BTLer with just one property to let, I do not care how many FTBers return to the market.
I just need one family to want my property and, at the moment, I could let it ten times over. With a rising population and a trend towards more single occupancy homes I'm confident that my property will be required for many years to come.
