Tefal 4 in 1 Chilli help...

Hi all,
Recently purchased a second hand tefal 4 in 1 and love it for rice & porridge.
I want to try out the slow cooker function... I have 500g mince & some kidney beans so I figured chilli would be a good option. However, as it was second hand, I don't have the recipe book to go with it to give me a clue where to start!
All the slow cooker recipes I see mention "high" or "low" setting (usually low). The tefal 4 in 1 doesn't have a high/low setting ... do I just assume it's a low setting and work with that? Anyone know?
Do I need to brown the mince before putting it in the 4 in 1?
Ta for you help.

If you can make it cheaper do so. If it's not reduced, in Primark, off ebay or free I can't have it :rotfl:0 -
I have a Tefal four in one and I lurrrve it! I also have two recipe books .... do you want me to post you one? PM me your address if so. I would say the slow cooker setting is more like high, on others as I find with chicken legs the meat is falling off the bone after four hours.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

Thanks Firefox - have pm'd you.
Panda - you can do pasta in this thing? Very cool. I should have guessed but it didn't cross my mind.
Am going to make something up for the chilli .... we'll see what happens. Will report back!
The Chilli is really for tomorrow night so figured I could experiment today (as I'm not at work today) and put result in fridge for tomorrow if OK. Then the next time I can try it on the same day. I like to experiment - you learn if it works and you learn if it doesn't!Pennies make pounds.
