Ours was with A&L and took just over 3 weeks.

However that was with me ringing at least once a day, and our A&L contact threatening an internal complaint if they didn't hurry up and give us an answer!! :D

Ours last year as first time buyers with Nationwide took 6 weeks. Our new mortgage for a new house this year took 2 weeks, but that was the same lender as an existing client.
