Re-claiming money from Money Worries debt management company

Hi,
I was recently using Money Worries debt management company until I found out from one of my creditors that even though I'd been using them since July, they had not contacted them. I only found out last week, and promptly contact Money Worries to cancel.
The problem I have is that I have paid them £400.00 towards my creditors & none of them have been paid anything. When I spoke to them they said I was not entitled to a refund - what is the next step for me?
If anyone has suceeded in getting their money back in a similar situtation, your advice would be greatly appreciated.

You will need to check the agreement you made with them.
Alot of these companies take their "fee" upfront so you will need to see what was specified in the document and how much this should have been. If there is a discrepency, write an official letter of compaint and state how you would like the matter remedied. If they do not, report them to tranding standards and the office of fair trading.
It all depends on what was in the agreement though. After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
