I have been making a nominal payment to a credit card company for over a year now, I recently had to send them a new financial statement in regards to my income, I am on benefits. They have now replied saying they are unable to accept my offer of payment, until they Confirmation of my income, a benefit letter and a full creditors list with the amount I owe to each creditor.
Do I have to give them this info??

Hi Skinnymoo
You don't have to give this information to anyone (except a judge in court).
But as they don't have to accept your token payments it may be worth giving them some extra info. Do you have a benefit letter stating your entitlement you would be happy to send a copy of? If you do this I think I have read somewhere that you should black out all data except your name and details of the benefits and amounts so get rid of your NI number and any reference numbers etc.
Not sure why they should have a full creditors list though, perhaps you could tell them your total debt figure and tell them you don't think who the debts are with is any of their business or relevant to them accepting your payment.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
