Seems to control up to 5000 devices, so not just the tv then! perhaps its for people who want to open their curtains etc remotely etc, ie gadget freaks.

I couldn't add a web address because I am still a new user. Basically universal remotes are great if you have lots of devices in your lounge - tv, satelite, surround sound, hi-fi, DVD, lights and curtains too if they are in the device list. If you just have a TV then its no use but with all the others it can make life so much easier. A click of one button can turn everything on and have it on the right channel for the programme you want to watch. It's one of those things that until you have used it you cant see the point, then when you have used it for a while you cant imagine not having it.

Perhaps Logitech could let you try one to prove the point...
