Hi,
Just to say we went bankrupt in March this year with equity in house - 5k after mortgage and secured loan were deducted. A family member has bought the equity back :j. So now OR has no interest in my house.
Like you my house was the one thing which had stopped me going bankrupt and for five years I had worked 60 plus hours to pay dmp. The OR would not negotiate over the figure to pay ( have heard others say they have taken off estate agents and solicitors costs first). We heard within two months - and within another two weeks all paper work was completed.

Thanks gardeners wife, am glad everything went well for you. I guess if push came to shove and the house went back into equity before everythng was dealt with, my parents would be able to help. I have heard also that OR's will not do any sort of deal with the equity - suppose they are just doing their job.
Many thanks again
