will they lend If I havea default

I have a default on my credit file for £200 from 2005. It is settled.

Will any mortgage company lend ?

deposit 21000
joint income 46000
debts 1500
house price 128000?

Partners score= perfect

Plesae help I have had a million conflicting opinions so far ;-(

  • my broker has recommended rbs, they did a credit check for my aip and have accepted... just waiting for the full app and am almost cracking up thinking it will be a no!!!

    Did the broker run it past RBS before doing the AIP?

    If your overall score was ok, and they checked first then chances are will be ok.

    WIth the sum being for £200, you may just fit inside the criteria of some lenders.

    Quickest way of finding out will be as Wutang says.
