As mentioned in my original post, my free Brother QL-550 label printer arrived today - allegedly woth £199 but selling for around £150!!

So, for my £84.50, I got a top-spec brand new laser printer and a label printer to boot!!!

Perhaps Brother have realised how cheap these printers were going for but i'm watching a HL-6050N at the moment and it's currently at £122 and the reserve still hasnt been met.

Yes, but I think they will have to revise their new policy of putting a reserve on the printers as quite a lot are going unsold. I'm sitting tight whilst also being conscious of the 30/6/06 cut off date for the Brother freebie on certain Brother printers...

I ended up buying a DCP-7010 from Brother on eBay for £85.00 & got the free Label Printer

I think they must have ran out of stock with the QL-550, as I got a QL-650TD RRP £351.31 :j
