Job Interview At Shipleys Amusements?

Hello.

I have a job interview at Shipleys Amusements tomorrow. The job title is "Cashier"

I am worried because I have not got much smart clothing to wear?
Will black trousers, black shoes and a shirt do?

What should I do / don't do in the interview?

Also has anyone ever worked at such a place before or know anyone that has, just incase I do get the job what sort of stuff will I have to do? (this could also help in the interview). Now I know the title is CASHIER but I can't imagine you have to do much? Except give change etc? Looking at photos of a typical Shipleys Amusement, being a 'cashier' is not exactly the same as being a 'cashier' in a supermarket is it?

ANY help/advice would be really appreciated. Many thanks :T

  • What Shipleys Branch?

I know somebody who used to work in Tamworth. They just ask the normal businessy questions but the job is basically change, walking round with change and biscuits etc.

Wear smart clothes - trousers and maybe cardigan or something, whatever you feel is smart!

    Good Luck!

Thankyou for the response much appreciated.

I'm just worried about what the "right" things to say are because I am good at talking to people etc, it's just that I am young and I only intend to do this job for a year maximum and maybe go to University next year.

Obviously you can't turn around and say "Well I just need a job to get some money for a few months" as it doesn't come across good.

So if they say "Why do you want this job?" or "What made you apply for this job" etc I'd be stuck as to what to say??
