Advice on selling a designer wedding ring

Hi All,

I'm looking to see if anyone has advice on selling a platinum gents wedding ring.

I know that I can take it to a jeweller and expect them to buy it for scrap metal value, but the ring in question was designed by Niessing and I'm reluctant to sell it for scrap without finding out if the fact it's a Niessing means it has any additional value.

My guess is it doesn't - but I'd like to find out for sure!!

Sorry you need to sell your ring.
My H2B sold his previous wedding ring which was platinum, though not designer, for £150, though it cost £550 to buy new.
Hope you don't mind me asking, but my engagement ring is a Niessing and we were hoping to get them as wedding rings, so my H2B might be interested in yours - would you pm me a picture? (And no doubt you'd want an independent valuation!)

I would take it to a good jeweller and have it valued.
