    Ok...................panic over. If anyone else has the same problem, right-click the picture of Partridge, then select Open Link in New Tab, and say Yes to everything - it will take you to the correct iTunes page - the one that ISN'T trying to charge £1.49!

    Make sure no one is logged in and you're on the UK version of iTunes. Go to the App Store, pick any free app, try to get it and you'll be prompted to create an account.

    If you do it this way, you'll get an option for no payment next to the variety of cards. Doesn't work if you try to download the free songs and then create an account. The option just doesn't appear.

    Didn't work for me in iTunes v7, but when I upgraded to v9, it worked perfectly. Now I have a free Snow Patrol song and Apple don't have my card details. Win. :D

    can you download these and add them to the ipod at a later date

    The third day is the Trivial Pursuit game by EA games for the iPhone/ipod Touch. I have the Wii version, and it looks very similar, and is just as addictive! Nice free download - perfect for my wife who hasn't stopped playing the Wii version since we got it, and had an iphone for Xmas! :j

    The Snow Patrol freebie was great! The Alan Partridge and Trivial Pursuit freebies, not so good.

    Its very easy to transfer things onto your Ipod. Go to the song you want or tv show and drag it onto your Ipod icon simple, if its an app go to the app folder and drag it from there make sure you click sync after its on there so it installs.

    i cant seem to download this! it wont let me( i have itunes) just wont let me get the game?
