How long does creme fraiche keep for once opened??

The packaging always says like 3 days but I can't use it that quick and end up chucking most of it (if I don't share it with my mum). How long would you say in reality it's good for? I've got some from last week and so far it's not gone green and furry

Ours usually keeps for over a week no problems.

I go by the use by date which is usually a couple of weeks. You will be able to see when it has gone off.
