if you don't want to buy online (as you will almost always have to provide your card details), you are best getting them from a stockist (usually salons). go to ghd, go to the bottom of the page, click on salon finder and postcode search. ring around to find the best price.

I got mine from http://hqhair.com They were a good price (about £78) and came quickly I also saved money by going through a cash back web sight
  • HQ hair have a rpomotion code somewhere, think it may be on hot uk deals and as said above dont forget to go through quidco or another cashback site

Can I also just say that I think GHD's are over-rated. They were the first decent pair in the market but now that is not the case, there are so many decent hair straightners out there.

As long as they heat up to about 200 degrees and ceramic coated they would work well.

I picked up a pair on sale from argos for 20 quid and they are brill.

Totally agree with you - I sent my back (to HQ Hair) and got a refund. I now use a pair I got in the sale for £20.

I've never tried the wet to dry straightners. Are they good? Does it take long to straighten hair using them?

    thnks for all the replies

i used the wet 2 straight 1 once...not as good as ghd ones..

i have a ghs one which is meant to be second best after GHD..it works great but i prefer GHD ones because they leave ur hair straight all day and leave it soft and silky
