ex PWC now working

Initially the NRP is allowed 100% of housing costs - except if they have no children in the household when it is capped at 50% of their net income or £80 per week (whichever is higher). Only in the event where the PWC applies for a departure on the grounds that the NRPP can contribute towards the housing costs do they apportion directly in line with their earnings.
In answer to your second question - the system just isn't up to the job. It would collapse and most cases would end up clerical - an absolute nightmare. Also, as they have now decided upon a new system still, they decided there will be no more transfers to CS2 except for the existing circumstances (eg, close case, wait 13 weeks and re-apply, or a new claim from either PWC or NRP).0 -
Thanks to both of you for your info. Still trying to get my head around it! Yes Kelloggs36 you are a machine!
I never gave CSA my salary details before as we weren't married at the time of the last assessment and my husband (being in the Army) lived away. He paid half our mortgage (about £250) and accommodation costs for his army room (also £200) the CSA would only take into account one payment -which I can understand but a bit unfair in the circumstances i.e no choice. This didn't make any difference to his payment!
My question is this - if now 2 years on, how much will a reassessment be when our situation is:
My husband is based near our home for the time being, so will be contributing only to one accommodation - our mortgage as we have moved since assessment is higher (was £900 but now £620 due to tracker rate gone down), council tax (£215)etc has doubled.
From January I will be paid mat pay (instead of £1500 per month)
The PWC is working full time since Jan
My husbands pay has incresed by £300 net per month.
My husband doesn't want to rock the boat in case we end up paying more, but I feel that we will be so worse off with me not working and a new baby.
Also should the PWC have informed the CSA she has been working since Jan? Will this be back dated if we tell them? She always asks for a re-assessment when she knows our circumstances have changed, so find it unusual this time.
Thanks again0 -

PWC won't have the changes backdated - there is no legal requirement to notify the CSA of a change in circs unless it is that the child has left home or education.
He will get full housing costs offset against his income. CSA can only allow one set of housing costs ie the one where the NRP spends most of their time. What were the housing costs allowed last time? Do you have the last assessment?0 -
Thanks Kelloggs36
No my husband bined everything when we moved house 10 months ago!
Both PWC (2 cases) were on no assessable income at the time of the last assessment 2 years ago.
I sent you a pm a couple of weeks ago with all the details we could remember from the last assessment. Do you want me to send that again. I think you said it was complicated and would take some time. Let me know if you need further info.
Thanks in advance0 -
Sorry meant to say...............is it not a bit unfair that now the ex is working full time that they don't need to tell the CSA!! Surely it would change the money we would need to pay.0
