hi!!
i am trying to make my little boy's birthday party as good as i can funds are low sooo if anyone can help add to my list of ideas pleaseeee they would be a great great help!!!
so far i have come up with these after searching the net!
party bag:-
i am going to print of star wars pictures for the party bags for the kids to colour in!, am going to make homemade playdough am a pro at that now for the party bags too and i was thinking some penny sweets and some colour pens from poundland maybe?
games:- (found on the net)
Clone Wars
Before the party plan some skill games and relay races.
Divide the children into two teams - Droids and Clones.
The teams will compete against each other using the
skill games. Award points for every game the teams win.
At the end of all of the games the team with the most points wins the war.
Examples for skill games:
Sack races, three legged relays, clothes pin bucket drop,
ball and bucket toss, bean bag tosses etc.
Hide cards that say Clone and Droid (equal amount of each).
Teams have to find all of their cards - first team to find them all wins.
Jedi Training Course
Create a challenging obstacle course in a large area for your
Jedi trainees. Use tires, ropes, 2x4 boards, lawn furniture etc.
The children will race or go through the course one at a time.
Light Saber Training
Before the party, make a light saber for each player using
foam pipe insulation or skinny swimming "noodles".
Wrap 4-6 inches from the end with colored electrical
tape to make a handle.
Inflate several balloons. Divide the children into pairs and
give each pair an inflated balloon. The object of the game
is to keep the balloon off the ground using only the light sabers. TIP: play the soundtrack from Star Wars while the
kids are playing this game
food n drink:-
* Yoda Soda: This festive punch is made in a punchbowl with 1/2 gallon lime sherbet and a chilled 2 liter bottle of 7-Up poured over the top of scooped sherbet (serve immediately). A clear punch bowl will take on a science fiction glow if set upon a couple of green glow-in-the-dark necklaces (available at party and dollar stores)
* "Pizza the Hutt"
* Wookie Cookies: As long as they are big and brown, any cookie will work.
* A cake may be decorated with Star Wars figures, made into a Star Wars shape
along with the usual crisps sarnies jelly ice cream star wars fairy cakes etc
i am still searching for a free printable star wars invitaion am not very good at all that cut and paste also i am on a mac and things seem to be limited on these things!
any ideas would be a great help thanks!!!

Yoda Soda sounds really cool, bet the kids love it! If you get a tube of glowsticks for this you could put on in the party bags too? You get a tube of about 25 for a pound in places like the poundshop, wilkinsons etc

We did a Star wars party this year for ds. The light saber balloon game was a real winner. So was lego star wars bingo matching the pictures to win, google it and just print it off. We did a star wars pinnata using a cardboard box picture of general grevious on it and then it was lots of ribbons hanging down one opening the trapdoor to let out the sweets. The kids loved it.
We let the kids decorate a plastic cup with star wars pictures and stickers then as they won sweets in the games they filled their cup then took this home as their party bag. Also gave them a certificate to say they had completed jedi training.
Also cut out Yoda head shapes in newspaper attached to wool and tied round kids waists trailing the newspaper on the floor. Kids had to run round trying to stamp on and pull off other kids yodas whilst protecting their own.
Hope this might helpMarch G.C. £300 fail 🙄

Pinata easy cardboard box covered in brown paper, printed off picture /mask of General Grevious 2 stick on one side. Attached a wire coat hanger stretched out to hook the box up high. Cut trap door. lolly stick with longish piece of ribbon tied to (it the thin stuff u use at christmas to make curly bow things) cut small slit in trap door in middle area thread ribbon through so it dangles down and sellotape stick to back/inside of trap door so that ribbon will open the door and let all sweets out. Now make lots and lots of slits on trap door and rest of that underside of box thread ribbon through all of them these pieces will just pull out when someone pulls it. When done there wiil be loads of ribbons to pull but only one opens the box. Put lots of light sweets in the box and carefully sellotape the trap door shut u shouldn't need too much tape or it will be too hard to open.
Does this make any sense?
If not pm me and I will take a picture as I still have it in the loft. March G.C. £300 fail 🙄

hi all
my daughter wants a Lego star wars party for her 6th birthday....
these ideas are really useful has anyone got any more ?
Lots of the star wars party ideas online are aimed at boys eg jedi training...
has anyone got any ideas how to make games centered around Princess Leia?

Hope that works.
I made this a couple of years ago for my eldest ds. Very easy as royal icing works best to get a older look lol.
I drew the sape on card first and carved around it.
I made cookies to match and he gave them out at school in cello bags.
