Hi

Can you tell me why my husband's tax code is 633L and not 647L. No reason that we know of. It has been like that for some time i.e always slightly lower than the norm code.

if you give your tax office a ring tomorrow they'll be able to tell you why. did you not get a notice of coding form the tax office to inform you of the change in your tax code?

It will be to pay tax on some other income - what that is only you/he can know

Private medical maybe? The amount would be right.
