Money making ideas?

Hi all,

I have recently moved in to a flat of my own after a relationship breakdown,

My income is good at £1326 Per Month

My outgoings with out any debts is £1290 per month.

I have hardly anything to sell due to moving away from main house and the things i have left are not worth anything.

My budget which i will post at another time cant be cut down at all, its as skinny as it gets

I have looked in to getting evening work but where there has been anything it clashes with when i look after my little one.

I have checked with the council and due to my income im not entitled to any help even though rent is £400 and child maintenece is £143 a month, as even though he stays one or two nights a week and eats 3 nights a week, he doesnt count in my allowance as he is on my ex partners claim:confused:

Any one any ideas?

    Hi

I would suggest that you do post your budget sometime -someone on here may have some suggestions even when you think its cut as far as it can go sometimes there are cost saving measures, eg make sure all your insurances are the cheapest you can get, many people use comparison sites for their car insurance but then pay over the odds for contents insurance and life insurance.

There are popular ways you can make a small amount of money/vouchers online from doing surveys and reviews. But these won't make you a fortune -though can help with buying christmas or birthday presents for your child.

You could look for more ideas on the 'up your income' board here - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.html?f=145

Depsite what your council have said it may be worth checking out www.entitledto.co.uk just to check if there is any help available to you.

Have you spoken to one of the free debt charities yet? If you only have £36 for debt repayments you unfortunatley don't have enough to do a debt management plan with them and they may advise just making token payments on your debts until your finances improve. If your finances are not likely to improve then they will discuss alternative options with you.
