Want to buy plastic box that is 'cream cracker pack' shape and size!

Anyone who knows where I can buy one of these please? I have finally had enough of DH moaning that he can't find a plastic container to put his crackers in!!!!

  • Lakeland used to do one - I have one - cost around five pounds or so and it takes one of the long packets of Jacobs - they don't seem to have them online but it may be worth a call to your local Lakeland branch to see if they have any old stock lying around

betterware or Kleeneze sell cream cracker boxes, that extend to take a full pack, and then slides smaller, as you use them

however i find it easiest to just keep the crackers in the pack and put a bevara (bought from ikea) around the top, to keep shut

  • Thanks but I find both BW and Kleeneze stuff to be overpriced and useless. Also, it's hard to put a food clip on a whole pack when you've only had 2 or 3 out of it!!!!

Thanks for your suggestions though :)

go the old fashion route then, use an elastic band - you dont gather the top and wrap it around to close though, you squash the top of the pack down, and put a large elastic band around the pack, top to bottom

also dont use the tear strip to open (as its too far down the pack), just slice it open (on 3sides) with a knife, between the top two crackers, as this gives you more wrapper to play with, when fastening

  • Thanks Flea. Problem solved I got him a couple of packs of cream crackers in Morrisons and they had a display of Kilp & lock containers £1.74 for one tha tis big enough to take 2 packs side by side.

Then he had the audacity to moan that he only opens one pack at a time - he was laughing though! - MEN!!!!
