Selleing endowments

We are considering building an extension and are looking at the possibility of selling our endowments along with an increase in our mortgage to fund it. We have discussed this with our current mortgage provider and it seems viable. We have also contacted the company we have our endowments with and have been given a quote for what we will get for them.
My question is does anybody know how you find out if you could get a better price from someone else?
