How Much!? - Evening reception

My partner and I have managed to sort everything out apart from a venue for our evening reception. we are having a small wedding (16 people) so we can have a lovely honeymoon.
the plan is then to have a bigger reception for rest of the family and friends when we return (with a great tan). we are aiming for 100 people and have a budget of approx £1200. so far we have found poor buffets and expensive room hire.
we were hoping on getting somewhere where the bar is in the same room so everyone is together and if possible we could do the buffet ourselves, but so far no one will let us.
as along as it isn't a community hall or leisure centre we are open to ideas
we are looking for somewhere in the nottingham area
starting to panic a bit!
All suggestions welcome and thanks in advance

We looked at Portland Hotel in Mansfield (which is just outside Nottingham) for daughters wedding, they were very flexible, unfortunatly it was not big enough.
Two young guys have taken it over and it looked really nice. There website is not up and running yet but you can see the hotel in this link
