Mortgage Genie - Recommendation

Thanks to this site I discovered Mortgage Genie (https://www.mortgagegenie.co.uk).
Having just been through a remortgage with them I thought I should share a note of recommendation. Despite my case being a little non-standard (I'm paid in Euros rather than £) I received great service.
I had to send in my driving license, but as promised it was returned the next day. Despite my non-standard situation, I received a mortgage offer within 7 days and the re-mortgage progressed without any problems.
Then automatically the 50% refund of the commission Mortgage Genie receive was paid directly into my bank account.
That was £260 back for me, great service and a good mortgage deal.
So, if you know what deal you want and are happy to do everything online - do take a look at Mortgage Genie!

(ps I've no connection with Mortgage Genie - just a genuinely satisfied customer!)

i have a friend in a simliar situation paid in euro - who was the lender?0

The lender was First Direct. They were very relaxed about Euro salary payment into a non-UK bank (Bank Austria Creditanstalt).
Otherwise however I'm a standard UK borrower - on the electoral roll, good credit score etc.0
