Wont the kilt/tartan shops be open on a Sunday for the tourists??
I am assuming its the buckle and strap at the waist? Could you use piece off an old belt to either extend or replace existing one??
  • thanks - yes the shops should be open on Sundays its just we have to drop the kids off in the opposite direction and then drive to the wedding - we did look at an old belt when i saw what the extenders looked like but we need 2!! and i am great at recycling anything old - in other words if it doesn't get worn it goes to the charity shop:o
we have managed to put another hole in each side which makes it more bearable but i know my dh is putting on a brave face now cos he is so annoyed with himself for not trying it on sooner!
anyway at least the sun is shining today for them:T

  • Pity you dont live near me, I am a hoarder and could probably find a dozen belts lol
Recently my grandaughter was going to see the film Aliens In The Attic and asked her mum if she thought grandma had aliens in her attic cos she has everything else! LOL
Hubby could always wear his troosers ;-)
