Fridge Freezer

My old fridge freezer is 22yrs old and starting to show its age, it still works but of late it has been making odd clunking noises and not running as quietly as it used too. To be fair to the poor old thing it did get moved about four times when I redecorated the kitchen.
So not having kept up to date on the finer points of freezer gossip are there any makes I should avoid.
