  • You could go to your local £land, where you could buy various shrubs- I boughty raspberries, yum yum. a planter a bag of compaost and a bag of bulbs- put them together and you got yourself a nice planter. what you could also try doing is taking cuttings/unwanted plants from friends and family, my mam was re-doing her garden and donated some gorgeous blue lilly's and iris's. You could try on the Freecycle website, they might have something you can brighten your garden up with. BnQ are rubbish, they over charge and dont take care of their plants, personally I favour growning from seed, its well satisfying- not to mention super cheap!! Good luck, hope your garden looks nice for the summer!!
RIP Floyd - 19/04/09. I know i'll see you again my best friend forever.

your local plant nursery will probably do hanging baskets and containers already filled, or made to order (more expensive).

Try markets and car boot sales, lots of people do them from seeds then sell them off you can get some good bargins, good luck, our local market on monday selling 30 marigolds for £1.00 & 144 busey lizzies for £5.50 and basket fillers only 50p each, they just needed to be grown on for a week or two till frosts finnish. good luck.
