I'm another fan of John Lewis percale bedlinen - it's the smooth weave and high thread count you're looking for. My current sets are 10 years old and I've just noticed the first small hole appearing in one of them. If you find you get too hot then I'd use a duvet with a lower tog rating - silk ones are fabulously light and last forever.Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants - Michael Pollan
